Psychology of Relationships

About Us

The Psychology of Relationships Interest Group (PORIG) has over 250 members. The aims of the group are best articulated in our Terms of Reference, but broadly speaking we wish to promote all manner of activities, research, practice and training that are relevant to the topic of relationships; to provide networking opportunities for people interested in the psychology of relationships; and to provide expert advice to the APS and wider community in the area of relationships.

PORIG hosts a national conference each year, distributes newsletters, offers professional development opportunities for its members, presents two awards each year, and is an important source of support and information for anyone with an interest in the psychology of relationships. Please feel free to contact us if you'd like more information or take a moment to look around this website and learn more about us.

The 16th annual PORIG conference is being held at the Deakin University Downtown Campus (16-17 Nov 2017)! Find out more about how you can register here and here!!
