APS College of Sport and Exercise Psychologists Student Award

The APS College of Sport and Exercise Psychologists ("the College") student award is intended to acknowledge one student from each of the College-approved postgraduate programs in Australia who have demonstrated the highest levels of a combination of applied skills and academic achievement over the duration of their postgraduate degree.


Prize for Best Student Presentation in Sport and Exercise Psychology

The Prize for the Best Student Presentation in Sport and Exercise Psychology has been established to support and encourage students studying sport and exercise psychology.

 


APS College Award of Distinction

Each year, the APS College of Sport and Exercise Psychologists grants an Award of Distinction to a candidate of exceptional merit. The purpose of the award is to recognise the importance of an individual's contribution to the specialist field of sport and exercise psychology and significant contribution to the College over a number of years.

 


APS College of Sport and Exercise Psychologists Student Award

Commencing in 2012, the APS College of Sport and Exercise Psychologists will grant an annual Student Award. The purpose of the award is to acknowledge one student from each of the College-approved postgraduate programs in Australia who have demonstrated the highest levels of a combination of applied skills and academic achievement over the duration of their postgraduate degree.

The reward was established in recognition of the significant role that Professor Tony Morris has played in the development of both the research and applied fields of sport and exercise psychology in Australia and overseas, and his significant ongoing contribution to the profession through positions within various national and international sport and exercise psychology professional associations.
