The Hobart Branch represents approximately 240 APS Members in Tasmania.

The Hobart Branch of the Australian Psychological Society has three Regional Branches. For historical reasons they are named Tasmania (Southern), Northern, and North-West. Each Branch convenes meetings and supports local members.

There is also a State Coordinating Committee, which serves as a link between the Branches and as a conduit between the Branches and National Office. The State Committee also fulfils a number of roles to represent the society at a state-wide level.

In addition, Tasmania has College Committees of Division of Independently Practising Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists in Tasmania.
