Terms of Reference 

  1. Provide a professional network across Australia for psychologists working in the field of Occupational Health, with links to similar overseas organisations whose aims are congruent with those of the Occupational Health Psychology Interest Group and the Australian Psychological Society 
  2. Provide a forum through which relevant information, research and relevant activities can be disseminated to members 
  3. Promote an awareness of the work of psychologists employed in the field of occupational health and safety
  4. Promote the recognition of professional standards for psychologists working in the field of occupational health and safety 
  5. Promote research and development activities in occupational health psychology. 
  6. Identify sources of potential funding for the research, development and promotional activities of psychologists working in the field of occupational health and safety
  7. Identify and assist in the provision of education, training and professional development opportunities for psychologists working in the field of occupational health and safety 
  8. Provide a forum through which the activities and interests of members working in the field of occupational health psychology can be promoted to the broader occupational health and safety (OH&S) community, including relevant policy and decision makers.
