Convener
Mrs Kirsten Perrins
Hi there! I'm Kirsten, and I am very proud to be the current Convenor of the ADHD and Psychology Interest Group. My interest in ADHD emanates from both lived and clinical experience, with my current private practice work in-part focuses on supporting autistic and ADHD communities across the lifespan. I'm also involved in advocacy and research around neurodiversity and neurodivergence, and I'm always keen to hear from other likeminded folks in this space.
I hope that together we can elevate and strengthen our understanding of ADHD, moving the needle on the conversation from one of disorder or deficit, and towards difference and greater understanding of the ADHD experience.
Committee Member
Ms Edwina Birch
I have been working with children and adults with ADHD for many years, for the last 30 years in private practice.
I was a member of the Development Group for the current Australian Evidence Based Guidelines for ADHD with my lived experience hat on. I have been a member of ADDPA since its inception and have been an active advocate for ADHD. With the NSW ADHD support group and the ADHD Foundation as a founding Director from 2017 and 2022. Recently with my advocacy buddy we have been successful at having a voice in current and hopefully future reforms to NSW Health for people with ADHD.
My focus for the interest group is in upskilling Psychologists and helping the APS to navigate a good professional position for Psychologists in what I hope to be a new and better health system for neuro-diverse individuals.

Hi, I'm Kristy- an ND Clinical Psychologist and researcher based in Queensland. I work across the lifespan in NGO and private practice, primarily focusing on trauma, late-diagnosed neurodivergence and sexual health (LGBTQIA+). I’m the founder of Kinaire Psychology, where I integrate therapy, digital mental health tools, and psychoeducation. My PhD research explores clinical aftercare for late-diagnosed AuDHD adults, with the aim of improving access to post-diagnostic support.
