Terms of Reference

1. To provide a network within the APS dedicated to establishing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of excellence and integrity in EMDR practice, research and education.
2. To provide a forum for discussion, peer contact, peer support and information sharing.
3. To promote the awareness of EMDR as evidence based practice for traumatic stress disorders.
4. To encourage local research and collaboration with other countries in the application of EMDR to various client populations.
5. To further the contribution of EMDR to the discipline of psychology by the dissemination of up to date international research and contributions from international conferences.
