The Gold Coast Branch represents over 600 APS members throughout the Gold Coast Region.

The Gold Coast Branch of the APS was established in 1995. With two universities and many working psychologists in the region, it was clear that local representation was needed as many members on the Gold Coast were reluctant to travel to Brisbane regularly. 

The branch services a large area from the NSW border in the South, to Ormeau and Jacob’s Well in the North, and Beaudesert and Jimboomba in the West. Members from adjoining branches who find it more convenient to attend functions on the Gold Coast are also welcome. The branch has worked successfully over the years to provide valuable networking opportunities, enhance professional skills and to socialise with psychologists from a multitude of backgrounds.
