I’m Dr Shaun Dempsey, a Clinical Psychologist in sunny North Queensland, Australia. I work locally in my own private practice but these days you will also find me working with people from all around Australia and internationally where I offer consultation and supervision for Internal Family Systems. I work predominantly with clients presenting with PTSD and trauma and I employ, IFS, EMDR, ACT, and CBT in my interventions. I completed my undergraduate degrees at UWA and my Masters and PhD at Murdoch Uni before heading for the east coast. I am an APS member and Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists and enjoy connecting with all sorts of different colleagues in the psychology world.

Azaan Vhora, a dedicated Psychologist, currently serves as Treasurer for the Internal Family Systems & Psychology special interest group. Azaan is deeply intrigued by the application of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy in various contexts. He is particularly interested in its application to sport psychology when working with athletes and larger sporting systems, as well as its potential in the treatment of ADHD.

Angela Gale is a Counselling Psychologist and Couples Counsellor. She enjoys working with the relationships people have with themselves and intimate partner. Relational trauma is the primary focus of her work (physical, sexual, domestic, institutional). Angela has been a committee member of the College of Counselling Psychologists since 2015 and the newly developed IFS interest group since 2024.
