Chair
Dr Maxine Hawkins
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director of Clear Health Psychology. We have 15 practices across Perth, and I proudly work with a team
of 145 wonderful psychologists and 50 super stars in admin. I moved to Perth 11 years ago and now call Perth home (I even follow the Dockers!). I was born and raised in Melbourne and completed a Doctor of Psychology from The University of Melbourne nearly 20 years ago. I then worked across a number of
hospitals in Melbourne and Perth in the areas of psycho-oncology, palliative care, cystic fibrosis, lung
transplant, sleep disorders and chronic illness.
I work with adults in the areas of depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, stress management, chronic
illness, trauma and bariatric clients.
My other roles have included being a Senior Lecturer/Clinical Director in post-graduate clinical
streams and providing clinical supervision in the clinical masters/doctoral programs. I love the clinical work and helping psychologists be their best.
Chair Elect
Mrs Federica Zamboni
I am a registered Psychologist with an interest in personality disorders, sexual functioning, relationships and gender issues.
I was born in Rome and my family moved to Australia when I was 16 years old. I have developed a passion for psychology over a number of years and I have a very varied career history, spanning from flight attending to hospitality. I have always found that my colourful career has helped me to relate better to my patients in one way or another.
In the last couple of years I have also run a number of group based therapies and I am amazed at the power of this therapeutic modality.
I am excited to be part of the APS Perth branch Committee, as I am a believer in change and improvement, both at an individual and systemic level.

Treasurer
Ms Aleisha Godenzie
Aleisha is returning to psychology after graduating in 2013 where she also worked with domestic violence survivor's. Having recently worked as a change consultant with WA Police and on large projects at the WA Department of Justice, Aleisha is looking forward to returning to working in one-on-one settings.
Aleisha is also chairperson of the WA United Nations Association of Australia Women’s Committee, UN Day
and is a member of the Executive Committee. Her work with venerable and marginalised groups extends over a decade, working first with offender populations to reduce the harm of offending on those directly involved and the wider community; then directly with Government to create a more effective public service to reduce the likelihood of Western Australian’s becoming involved with crime.
Major achievements include delivery of a $5M data analytic upgrade to a major law enforcement organisation, rolling out a new business unit for a Government department including training.

I love working with a wide range of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, emotion dysregulation and sex-related difficulties. I work primarily one on one, sometimes couples and family work, and do enjoy group therapy when the opportunity arises.
Committee Member
Ms Amy Henderson
I am a Registered Psychologist currently completing my endorsement program for Organisational Psychology. I have a strong interest in business and clinical psychology and use both in my private practice and project work.
Growing up in the Goldfields in WA gave me a love and appreciation for the diversity and beauty of Australia. This was particularly helpful during my 15+ years in the mining industry in various roles, including mechanical tradesperson (yes, you read that right!), maintenance supervisor, human resources advisor, and employee relations consultant. As an Organisational Psychologist (Registrar) I use this knowledge and experience to support mining companies and other industries to create safer and mentally healthy workplaces for their employees.
In my private practice I see the impact that poor workplace practices and culture have on individuals and hope to help organisations do better. I am therefore very pleased to have joined the APS Perth Branch Committee.
