I am a Counselling Psychologist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist working in private practice in Brisbane. I also offer psychotherapy supervision and lead Balint Groups which are case-based reflective practice discussions for psychologists and other health practitioners, focusing on the emotional and relational aspects of clinical work to enhance the quality of clinical practice and to assist in the prevention of practitioner burnout.
I was the founding convenor of POPIG in 1997.

Giac is a Lecturer at the University of Queensland, and maintains a full-time psychotherapy practice in Brisbane. He has published and presented on topics including Moral Philosophy and Clinical Ethics, Psychoanalytic Technique, and Theories of Psychotherapeutic Change.

Robert is Professor of Psychology in the School of Psychology and Counseling at Queensland University of Technology. Robert works as a clinician, teacher and researcher. Research interests include psychotherapy process and outcome, often drawing upon psychodynamic principles, and he works with people from refugee backgrounds.
