Welcome to the website of the APS Trauma and Psychology Interest Group. 
TAPIG exists to promote and present best practice trauma management across Australia by providing professional support, supervision and advocacy for practitioners.
Terms of Reference:
- To provide a network for information sharing, peer contact and review, and discussion between Psychologists interested in, or involved in the delivery of psychological treatment to individuals who have experience a trauma.
- To promote best practice professional development for psychologists involved in the delivery of post-trauma interventions.
- To organise and promote continuing education and professional development activities for APS members.
- To liaise with other professional groups whose aims are congruent with those of the interest group and the APS.
