Mark is a Health Psychologist with a diverse career in the public and private sector covering several areas including - Sexuality; Sexual Health; Drug and Alcohol; as well as periods in private practice treating adult mental health concerns.

Mark's interest in Transpersonal Psychology developed over the past 30 years while exploring altered states of consciousness. Mark has made several trips to Egypt where he has explored the impact of how ancient sites can trigger altered states of consciousness.

Mark has a particular interest in how people integrate altered states into their construct of the world/universe.

Dr Jennifer Geary
Jennifer is a Committee Member of Transpersonal Psychology Committee. She has a passion for psychology, seeing it both as an art and a science. Jennifer values the balance between empirical research (science) and the more human, creative aspects of psychological practice (art). She enjoys engaging with others who contribute to the field in diverse ways, recognizing that psychology is enriched by multiple perspectives and methodologies. Jennifer js an interdisciplinary practitioner dedicated to exploring the complex ways in which interactions shape behaviours, emotions, and cognitive health. With a focus on relationships—whether platonic, romantic, or professional—she investigates the dynamics of communication, social influence, and interpersonal patterns that contribute to psychological well-being. Her work emphasizes the importance of life, security, and privacy as essential rights for achieving personal, social, and environmental health. She enjoys the outdoors including canoeing.

I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Fremantle, Western Australia, primarily working in research and program implementation and management for the last 25 years. Long interest in the healing potential of altered states of consciousness, including variety of pathways practiced within different cultures for improving health, personal growth & self-realisation.
