Student Representativer
Mrs Katie Deshays
I am currently studying psychology at the University of South Australia online and I intend to complete the undergraduate degree at the end of 2024 with a view to taking on Honours and a PhD following that. I received a University Merit Award in my first year for achieving a cumulative program grade point average in the top 15% of the undergraduate and postgraduate students in UniSA Justice and Society. I hope to be part of developing and implementing programs to help deliver social change and use nature to do this. I have been inspired by Government initiatives such as the South Australian program called "Healthy Parks Healthy Minds" which encourages communities to connect with nature thereby creating a reciprocal relationship. I live in Mudgee, NSW and study full-time as well as work part-time from home for a national company as a senior leader in HR and project management.
