The Division of Professional Psychology Forum will provide:

• A vehicle for registered generalist APS psychologists to review and discuss issues and convey views directly to officers of the APS Board of Directors and to the National Office;
• A means of bringing knowledge, experience and perspectives from a range of settings, specific sectors of the membership, the profession of psychology and the communities in which they work to the discussions of the forum;
• The facility for members to play an active part, where appropriate, in contributing to the formation of statements of policy and professional issues;
• A forum for information, implementation and intelligence regarding membership and recruitment of members for the Society
• A means whereby members in general psychological practice can hear and understand the views and policies of APS Board of Directors and the National Office that they can share with, and convey to, the membership that they represent.
