The Mornington Peninsula Regional Group has been operating since 1998 and the Peninsula is home to approximately 215 APS members.

The Mornington Peninsula covers an area of approximately 740 square kms and has a population of around 125,000.  Tourism is a major industry in the region, which is famous for its beautiful beaches and coastline, and attractions such as 170 wineries, gourmet restaurants, historic trails, and golf.
