Terms of Reference

1. To promote theory, research and practice related to the psychology of parents, infants, couples and families during the perinatal period - antenatal and postnatal;
2. To provide opportunities for training and professional development in the area of perinatal and infant psychology;
3. To provide forums for discussion, information sharing and professional support;
4. To facilitate a network within the APS for members with an interest in perinatal and infant psychology;
5. To promote the field of perinatal and infant psychology;
6. To provide informed advice to the APS on matters related to psychological practice within this specialist area.
