Mrs Michelle Aniftos
Michelle Aniftos (Director, Mylne Street Mental Health) BSocSc; P.G.DipEd; MEd; MPsych (Clinical); GradCertClinNeuroPhys; MAPS; CCLIN

Michelle is a Clinical Psychologist, Educational Consultant, and Certified Neurofeedback Practitioner working in private practice in Toowoomba, Queensland. She has been an active member of the APS for over 10 years, is an elected Fellow of the Applied Neuroscience Society of Australasia, and Chair of the Biofeedback International Certification Alliance – Australia. Michelle has completed Masters degrees in both Education (Special Education, Guidance & Counselling majors) and Psychology (Clinical) and has post-graduate certification in Clinical Neurophysiology. In addition to advanced cognitive and behavioural therapies, Michelle has completed training in ACT and IPT. Following 10 years of professional development and mentoring in applied neuroscience, Michelle also provides EEG assessments (qEEG & ERPs) and biofeedback therapies (EEG & HRV).

I am a Clinical Psychologist, completing my Masters of Psychology (Clinical) at Bond University. I have a passion for helping clients of all ages with a range of psychological conditions, including anxiety, depression, adjustment, eating disorders, personality, and developmental disorders through individual, family and group therapy. I am also completing my PhD through the Institute of Evidence-Based Healthcare at Bond University, with my research focusing on public and professional perceptions of labelling of health conditions and why labelling of health conditions is influential. I am also a Lecturer (Psychology) at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ).
