Committee Member
Mr Michael Guarna
Michael's interest in Posttraumatic Stress (PTSD) began while working at a military research centre. From here, he started treating occupational trauma in police, firefighters, first responders, and others facing critical incidents at work, eg armed robberies.
Michael then shifted to working with community trauma, focusing on domestic violence and child protection, with a particular focus on treating survivors of child sexual abuse.
He now works in regional SA and continues to see clients for all forms of trauma, helping children, teenagers, and adults both recover and thrive.
Committee Member
Mrs Katriona Hunt
I have been working in the child protection sector for over 20 years in the casework space, and am currently studying the MPP to become a clinician.
