I am a passionate Health Psychologist who is a member of the APS and College of Health Psychologists. I have trained in Health Psychology, Family therapy, CBT, ACT and motivational interviewing and work with individuals and groups in Public and Private health with chronic health conditions: specialising in pain management, neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, vestibular and cancer related health issues. My therapeutic aim is to empower clients, exploring psychological strategies which target mind/ thoughts, emotions, sensations and behaviour to increase positive active self-management. I conceptualise and treat clients through a biopsychosocial and systemic lens and target treatment which a strong focus on lifestyle factors, behaviour change and communication with systems involved in clients’ care. I am an advocate for chronic conditions’ peer support and peer empowerment. I am committed to advancing Health Psychology in the profession and in the community.
