The Psychologists for Peace Interest Group is aligned with the values and supports the approach of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for the prohibition and eventual elimination of nuclear wepons in 2017. ICAN is a global coalition of organisations with the goal of building public and government support for banning and disarming nuclear weapons.
